Although many businesses have different views when it comes to ethics, The Alt Creative stand by high ethical responsibility to ensure our business is bringing beauty to your home without impacting the natural world. We believe that ethical sourcing is crucial to any entomology and taxidermy collection.

An ethical collection is a happy collection.

 

Where do you source your specimens?

Our specimens come from many different places , such as conservation efforts, personal collections as pets, zoos, scientific research and more. Our specimens are never bred or collected for the purpose of taxidermy.

Our specimens are never collected from the wild, so don’t worry no one is going around with a net and impacting the natural world.

 

What do you mean by responsibly stocked?

Responsibly stocking to us means that we only ever have 1 or 2 of a specimen available and in stock. We aim to keep our business small scale, to ensure our demand and impact on specimen numbers is minimal. We personally like to give our full attention and care to each specimen when framing.
